I appreciate the first reviewer’s remarks, and based on them will not be buying this game, though I might have had I not been so informed.
You know, if you disagree with the remarks of another, the civil, sane, and logical way to let your differences be known does not include berating and baiting the person with whom you disagree. It saddens me that the reviews below disagree with the original reviewer in a hateful manner that seeks to do nothing but belittle and disrespect the beliefs of the reviewer and every other Christian. Appalling.

i do not like the tank missions
everything else rocks
but tanks are really gay
you must do missions over and over because you need to plan everything so you dont die

My 10 year old son likes war games and I know most of them are rated T because of the violence, but this one is rated T and has VERY BAD language! Never have I heard such foul language in a rated T game! The word G-D (doesn’t take much to figure out what word I’m talking about) is used several times. This word should NOT be used in ANY rated T game! The game should be rated M and there should be a warning to parents on games that contain such foul language. My son is very dissapointed because he bought this game not knowing of the language in it and he isn’t allowed to play it.

[...] Secondly, the brave soldiers who fought the war, the real war, didn’t go around say ‘golly jee, ya think we ought to go get them rascals?’ The language used is the same lingo the soldiers used in the trenches. It adds to the REALISM. I have not purchased this game yet, but I have RENTED it, something you may want to consider if you’re worried about language in a WWII game. [...]

I don’t like killing my own Germanic or European people but hey it’s WWII everybodies whacked out from 2coined politics what do expect. The action is excellent and so are the missions. Sometimes it gets a little redundant that’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars. It would be a lot more interesting if they made a game or some of these historical missions for European missions.
Alot of those real life European soldier’s were pawns of the Nazi movement and “not all” of them were as bad as portrayed, they were mislead and manipulated. Let’s face it everbody with power wanted a war and everbody without power wanted power. There were language barriors that were intentially broken, everybody wanted Germanies Technology, and times were getting very tough in Germany. Being part Bavarian myself there is justification for hatred of the East which is often left out of the WW war talk but it’s not justified from the Nazi retorical perspective.
Traditional Germany is not at all how it is portrayed. During the war not only were soldiers lied to and tricked but so were scientist and every other profession in the reich. Basically the more you put into the new reich the more you were betrayed. Even Adolf Hitler himself was unknowingly drug induced or giving drugs he did not know about by his Doctors – that’s how corrupt it really was.
Execelent graphics, good game play, no overkill on bloodshed. Definatly better than what I expected.
