XBOX 360 not working ?

The Microsoft XBOX 360 is certainly a very exciting console which promised to beat the Sony PS3. But everyone ho owns this console is probably also familiar with the fact that it has a lot of problems. Here are a few problems.

Three red lights flash around the button and the console does not start. Disk errors while inserting disks Graphics errors resulting in graphics corruption and artifacts on screen. Game constantly hangs once in a while. Scratched disks.

The first problem with 3 red lights blinking is the most common problem. This is also called as the Red ring of death or RROD. This problem basically means that your XBOX is screwed! and the funny part is that it is not your fault. Its because of an inbound hardware fault. AND to top it off a repair from Microsoft will cost you about 150$ plus all the shipping and all the trouble. Why would you do this when you can easily fix this by yourself. Microsoft WANTS you to pay for the repairs which is why they purposely DONT want to develop a fix for this problem.

The 3 red lights are indicative of a hardware failure. The games freezing is generally followed by the RROD. Freezing of games is a sign that a hardware failure is imminent. Apart from this there is the thing about disks being constantly damaged and disk errors which is why I use Easy Backup Wizard to make and play backup copies of all my games. Anyways all the errors mentioned above can easily be fixed at home without tech knowledge.

The way to fix this is pretty simple. There are lots of videos and tutorials available on the net but none of these are complete and some of the videos are hard to follow.
