    this psp go sucks, i more prefer the psp 3000 slim & lite!

  • JasonB1969 says:

    I prefer the PSP to the PSP Go as you can buy games on UMD disc or download them from the Playstation Store whereas the PSP Go has no UMD Drive so it’s downloaded games only. That’s why the PSP Go has 16 Gigabytes.

    The Sandisk 8GB card cost £40.00 and only had about 1.3 GB’s remaining as I had a number of games that take up well over a Gigabyte each.

    I have since formatted the card and Gran Turismo, FF7: Crisis Core and Aliens VS Predator Requiem I have got on UMD rather than download.

    I’m thinking of getting a PSP, but not sure whether the Go or 2000/3000 is the better idea. I mainly want it for the downloadable FF7 and 8 from the PSN store, (around 3000MB for both together so 16GB seems a bit over the top) is this possible with the old style PSP? will i need to buy a memory card? and if so how much are they?
    cheers

    @dragonbreathstinks i actually find the psp 3000 hurts my hands more cause i have to cramp my thumb to reach the analog. having large hands myself i can say that the go is more comfortable for me.

  • DimSimCard says:

    psp go are awsome, everything has and up and down to it. like no umb slot, there trying to get people to but games online and its easier, i still have a psp 100 it still works fine, only if utube worked would have been better.

    Anywayz psp go r gud but im still gonna stik to my psp 100

  • gowzerlad95 says:

    where you gettin this from?

  • dragonbreathstinks says:

    The main thing I’m worried about and the reason I’m not getting a PSP go is the size. When I become an adult it’s probably going to be too small for me. My thumbs would be too big and such. Things like that. And the PSP 3000 won’t have that problem.

  • dragonbreathstinks says:

    Are you sure it was the psp go? Or the PXP 2000?

  • zeph94 says:

    Im getting one because now I can actually put my PSP into my pocket comfortably. I almost never used my PSP 1000 because of size but I also had a PSP 2000 and it was still too big. Also UMD’s kinda suck, I’ve had them break by just a tiny tiny bit of pressure and the game no longer works. I mean I know I’m missing out on some older games but there is still and lot of good ones on the PSN store. So yeah I guess the main reason for getting one is more portability and no more UMDs

  • JasonB1969 says:

    Why not just get a PSP Slim & Lite 3000 over a PSP Go ?

    You are saving some money on the cost of the machine and you can still buy and play UMD games on a PSP or play games downloaded from the Playstation Store unlike on a PSP Go.

    I also think if you are used to the buttons layout on a PSP then it won’t be so easy to play your games on a PSP Go due to the different layout of buttons.

    I have a PSP Slim & Lite 2003 so there’s no reason for me to get a PSP Go.

    @ModernGodOfWar So do i.

  • HAYDS510 says:

    @damnhaDes might look awkward if you got other PSP’s but it’s been no trouble at all to play infact it’s pretty comfortable, i never had an older PSP though.. i assume it’s like when you ride someone elses bike and the handles n crap feel demented.. but you get used to it

  • HAYDS510 says:

    @GraveProductions2009
    the Go is pretty good, its about 2/3 the size of the 3000, Screen is smaller but has the same resolution so the pixels are just tighter and it gives a clearer image. the bluetooth is cool you can control other devices from the PSP like PS3′s, and use PS3 wireless controls to play games on the PSPgo which i did with Soul calibur and it was awsome. DL’able content is good, PSN cards are easy to use & thats the way stuffs headed, MP3 players cast aside discmans.

    the psp go sucks a girl’s balls its that bad see tweeterman287′s review of it and THEN, THEN you’ll understand

  • ppackingnegro says:

    way smaller , way better , bluetooth , 16 gigs PERIOD

  • ModernGodOfWar says:

    i like the PSP GO

  • GraveProductions2009 says:

    why did they make the PSP go? wasnt the PSP 3000 a hit already, having a mic, a clear screen and good sound? Its not like the PSP go is any smaller than the 3000 is it? Although i do find it a pain finding somewhere to store my UMDs, so the downloadable games is a useful feature.Seriously Sony, make a PSP 4000 that puts the 3000 and the go! together for a gamer with mates on the go! =)

  • isp10man says:

  • damnhaDes says:
